Creation: Impacting our Culture with Scott Gillis of Creation Ministries International

This is a church event at which accredited Creation Ministries International (CMI) speaker Scott Gillis will present for the regular evening service time. His presentation demonstrates how the Gospel message is rooted in the book of Genesis and provides evidence to support the reliability of the Bible’s record of origins.

Attendance is free and all are welcome. Creation resources will be available before and after the service.  This event is in our sanctuary.  We will have dinner and fellowship afterward in our Fireside Room.  Our standard teaching time during food and fellowship through the Westminster Standards will be postponed to allow for more informal interaction with Mr. Gillis.

To help us promote this event, go to the CMI page with lots of resources click here.

About Scott Gillis

Scott’s passion and enthusiasm to communicate the truth of God’s Word, makes him one of CMI’s most engaging and popular speakers. His own faith grew in leaps and bounds when a scientist friend was able to show him how Genesis and the scientific ‘facts’ around us made much more sense when interpreted correctly through the lens of Scripture.

You too will be surprised to hear just how much support there is for taking the Bible’s account of history at face value. Don’t miss this opportunity.

About CMI

Creation Ministries International is a group of non-profit ministries in several countries. Though each is a legally and financially autonomous body, we have formally unified our efforts as a federation of ministries under the banner ‘CMI-Worldwide’ that helps to ensure unity, harmony, and efficiency of outreach.

Our role is to support the church in proclaiming the truth of the Bible and thus its Gospel message. We provide real-world answers to the most-asked questions in the vital area of creation/evolution, where the Bible is most under attack today—Genesis.

We are apolitical and non-denominational (as an organisation, not as individuals within it). We try to confine ourselves to matters as defined broadly by our Statement of Faith, and try to not get involved as a ministry in other controversies or issues within Christendom, no matter how important we, as individuals, might regard these.

From PRPC’s denomination’s website, the number two of eight highlights is this: “We maintain a literal twenty-four hour, six consecutive day creationist view of Genesis” (www.rpcga.org).
