Solution to San Diego Housing Market Crisis Under Construction

PRPC and Real Estate Developer Create a Template to Help Working Class Families Stay in San Diego and Their Congregations

“It’s no secret that hard-working people are leaving SoCal in droves because they can’t afford to raise a family here,” said Randy Haragan, owner of Haragan Properties.  [To tour these homes for potential purchase or explore Randy purchasing part of your church’s property for a similar project to help raise funds and offer more homes to your neighborhood, call him at 619-517-9144 or email him at rharagan@sbcglobal.net]

Randy Haragan of Haragan Properties participates with his wife, Donna, in an April 15, 2026 ribbon cutting open-house ceremony of the 11-unit town home property in Paradise Hills (South East San Diego) he developed after purchasing it from next-door Puritan Reformed Presbyterian Church. Haragan is finishing the development of a section of land he bought from the Puritan Reformed Presbyterian Church into eleven 3-story town homes, named “Villa La Paz.”  It became a template for him to offer other San Diego churches struggling financially to also sell property they could part with.  Read a news release about this project here.
